Meet The Team

Dr. Ian Callow
Dr. Callow originally hails from Sarnia, Ontario. The same hometown as long time practice owner, Dr. Randy Whyte. They were partners for many years until Dr. Whyte's retirement in 2014.
Having earned both an Honours, and Masters degree in Pharmacology and Toxicology from the University of Western Ontario, Dr. Callow went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the same school graduating on the Dean's Honour list.
Dr. Callow is committed to life-long learning as he believes that continually improving his knowledge and skills is the best way to ensure his patients receive the absolute best care. He holds a certificate in moderate sedation, a certificate in laser dentistry, and has received extensive training on restorative implant treatment. He also completed advanced training in the exposure and interpretation of 3D radiographs allowing his patients to benefit from these advanced, highly detailed x-rays.
Dr. Callow also believes in the passing of knowledge to others, and as such, has enjoyed teaching at Algonquin College in the dental hygiene program.
Dr. Callow truly likes to make his patients feel "at home" in his office. His keen sense of humour and infectious laugh are always easy to hear around the office.
In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife Julie and his boys. He loves being active with sports of all types but especially racquet sports, hockey and golf.

Dr. Liv Phillips
Originally from Pointe Claire, Quebec, Dr. Phillips grew up in Ottawa's west end. After obtaining an Honours degree in Biopharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Ottawa, she earned her Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the University of Toronto and received the schools distinguished Oral Surgery award.
She spent the last several years practicing dentistry in Kemptville and Ottawa, before deciding to come to the Ottawa Valley.
In recent years, Dr Phillips has put an emphasis on furthering her education. She has completed a mini-residency in Implant dentistry and a Masters Clinician Program in the same field.
Dr. Phillips also holds a certificate in moderate sedation and has received extensive additional training in wisdom tooth removal. She, along with Dr. Callow has completed advanced training in the exposure and interpretation of 3D radiographs allowing hgihly detailed x-ray assessment for her patients.
For Dr. Phillips, communication, kindness, and trust are all important to create a strong relationship between dentist and patient. She enjoys all areas of dentistry, and truly values her relationships with patients of all ages.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her two boys (Grant and Ben), and her husband Derek. She also loves cooking and staying active with swimming, sailing, gardening and cross country skiing. Both Dr. Phillips and her husband are avid baseball fans (Let's Go Blue Jays!!).

Dr. Mark Luden
Dr. Mark Luden, a graduate of both McGill University (Montreal, QC) and Temple University (Philadelphia, PA), is a certified specialist in Orthodontics. He has been practicing orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics since 1993 and we feel fortunate to have him, and the specialty services he offers, available in our dental office.
Dr. Luden’s highest priority is the health and satisfaction of his patients. He and his team work to make each patient feel at home, and comfortable with their orthodontic treatment.
Dr. Luden’s practice maintains a “Face-Focused” approach that concentrates on each patient’s overall facial balance, to optimize health and cosmetic treatments.
By regularly participating in continuing education, Dr. Luden remains up to date on the latest technologies, orthodontic techniques and patient comfort options.
